Big Sky Quality Wool is located in the heart of Broadus Montana. Our full service mill is equiped with a Davis & Fuber Double Carder, a Warner & Swasey Servo (Pin) Drafter, and new this year - a spinning frame. We now offer you 'grease to yarn' fiber processing.

We take pride in every process and it shows in the final product.Really_Beautiful.JPG

Happy Valentine
Arrow through the heart     We had three great knitting classes this past January: Vest, Gator and Hat.  The next class will be open knitting on March 7th, Saturday.  Come and enjoy each others company and knit/crochet to your hearts content.  We will skip the next two months: April and May.   Then we will meet the first saturday of of each month beginning in June.  If anyone has an interest in a particular pattern or technic please let me know.
Both Carolyn and I will be shearing our flock sheep this next week: wednesday and friday, weather permitting.  We will then begin lambing mid-March.
Charlotte, our spinner, has just completed a blend of Yak/Cormo yarn.   This week she will begin processing alpaca from singles to three-ply sport yarn, of course this will depend upon the order.
For Valentine give your love ones tulips.  Tulips are one of the truest harbinger of spring.  In the language of flowers, the tulip means "perfect love."
